Christmas preparations in the Smith's cottage

There is a lot to do before Christmas and help is needed to get ready. Together with the Smith's wife Maria Smeds the children clean the house and prepare a meal consisting of traditional rye bread, butter and porridge. Outdoors, wood for the fireplace and baking oven needs to be carried to the Smith's cottage. Finally, the Christmas tree is brought to the Smith's cottage.
